I have started a Chu Shogi Library project. You can read about it here, or download the starter set from here.

You may also want to download Eduard Werner's Metafont package for producing board diagrams for Modern Shogi, Chu Shogi and Tenjiku Shogi. Download it from here, but all enquires should go to Eduard Werner

So far, the following books and articles are complete, or near enough so:

Peter Banaschak's Short History of Chu Shogi.
A Chu Shogi bibliography, referred to extensively in Peter's Short History.
A growing collection of game commentaries.
